It all comes down to the simple fact; it’s not talent that gets you there, it’s hard work.
I listened to an architect once who went through a series of steps that he felt every aspiring architect or designer should follow and the only step I remember is, “work harder than everybody else.”
Work hard than everybody else. That’s become my motto, I think. If there’s somebody who has a workload equivalent to mine, and they’re working harder than I am, then I’m not working hard enough.
